Care for those who require support in their own home
Domiciliary Care is the first stage of care offered by Abbeyfield Ferring Society. We aim to provide care to support older people in their own homes, to assist them and improve the quality of their lives while maintaining their independence and personal choice. Our range of services includes help with medication and exercise, companionship and conversations as well as housework, personal care and the management of paperwork and payment of bills.
We offer domestic help and personal care services to clients who live in the Ferring, Goring and Rustington area. Visits are arranged at times and days to suit you and can be daily, weekly, fortnightly or just a one-off.
We aim to spend quality time with our clients and do not offer quick fifteen minute or back-to-back calls. We care for our clients as they matter to us and we provide this home care service at a very competitive rate.
Our domestic services include help with tasks such as shopping, housework, laundry, ironing and cooking meals. The assistance can also extend outside of the home – we can collect prescriptions and pensions and also accompany clients for medical appointments or on social outings.
Our personal care service provides help with getting up in the morning, washing and dressing. We can also help with medication (prompting, administering and managing prescriptions) and, at the end of the day, preparations for retiring to bed at a time to suit you.
Our care extends to your wellbeing as we prefer to spend quality time with you to make sure you are well looked-after.

If you are interested in talking to us about supporting you at home, we will listen to your needs and advise you if we are able to support you in what you require. We will send you the information about our services and the charges.
If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange a visit to see you in your home and carry out an assessment of your needs.
We will then arrange a start date and agree suitable times for our staff to visit you.
A review of your care needs will be regularly undertaken by a senior care worker to ensure the service continues to meet your needs and during your care, you will have access to our office team to answer any questions.
Our staff are fully trained and undergo enhanced DBS checks.
We aim to make every day a good day for every one of our clients.
