COULD YOU BE A TRUSTEE FOR ABBEYFIELD FERRING?
We are seeking new members for our Executive Committee who are Trustees for Abbeyfield Ferring.
The Trustees are responsible for make the over-arching decisions of Abbeyfield Ferring which include the running of Cornwell House, our residential care home; the Old School House, extra care living; home care and community services.
The post of Trustee is a voluntary one and would involve, as a minimum, five board meetings a year, an assortment of business-related tasks and possibly, a few compliance meetings. There is no fundraising involved.
We are looking for trustees with previous experience in either social care, business, clinical, legal skills, HR, finance and ability to offer life skills with a balanced approach.
Our Trustees make decisions and choices based on common sense and best interests built on respect and the insight into the needs of our residents and customers.

Trustee Role Description
Community Care Workers in Ferring and Goring
We are currently recruiting for Community Care Workers guaranteed hours, weekdays starting at 7.30 am. Also a weekend vacancy only. We also have bank work available.
Rates of pay from £9 to £11.50 per hour plus the opportunity for enhancements. Mileage is paid and full training is given. A driving licence is essential.
We are looking for an honest and trustworthy person who can work with empathy and understanding at all times. Previous experience in providing personal care is desirable but full training will be given. Please read the job description for full details.
Community Support Worker – Weekends
We are currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker at weekends. Rates of pay from £10 to £11.50 per hour.
We are looking for special people who have the ability to make a difference to our clients’ lives.
Our care roles workers are responsible for providing a high standard of personal care and will need to be able to empathise, listen and laugh with clients.
There will be plenty of time allocated to the clients.
You will be supported by a strong management team who care about you too!
